How do I create a room and invite my Catan group?

Open the app โ†’ tap Create a room on the home screen. Name your room (e.g., "Tuesday Catan") and you're the owner. From the room main page, tap the gear icon โ†’ Invites โ†’ generate a link or QR code, then share it. The first time someone follows the invite, they'll create an account or sign in, and they're in.

I logged a game wrong. Can I fix it?

Yes โ€” only the room owner can edit or delete games. Open the game from the recent-games list โ†’ if you're the owner, you'll see Edit scores and Delete this game at the bottom. Editing keeps the date intact; deleting rewinds the room's rating history as if the game never happened.

Why does the rating say something different from the points I scored?

Catan Leaders uses an OpenSkill conservative rating โ€” it adjusts based on who you played and where you finished, not just how many points you got. Beating a strong group earns more than beating a weak one. The number you see is mu โˆ’ 3ยทsigma, the rating you can be confident a player exceeds.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings โ†’ Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, room memberships, and game records within 30 days. It can't be undone.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Catan Leaders is currently free, but if you ever subscribe to a paid feature, manage it in iOS Settings โ†’ your name (Apple ID) โ†’ Subscriptions โ†’ Catan Leaders. Apple handles billing and cancellations directly.

Can I export my game history?

Yes. Email ayazzvural@gmail.com from the address tied to your account. We'll send a JSON dump of every room, game, and rating snapshot we have for you. Usually within a few days.

I lost a guest player's history when I claimed their account.

You shouldn't โ€” claiming a guest player merges their history into your account. If something looks off (rating reset, missing games), email us with the room name and player name and we'll investigate.

Push notifications aren't working.

First, check iOS Settings โ†’ Notifications โ†’ Catan Leaders and make sure they're allowed. Push tokens are registered the first time you sign in after granting permission โ€” if you denied at first and changed your mind later, sign out and back in to re-register. Still nothing? Email us.
